DATA CENTER OPERATION ENGINEER

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Reliability teams

You will work on a range of tools, infrastructure and services – new and existing – with an aim to elegantly and efficiently solve problems and deliver practical, maintainable and scalable solutions.

Job Description

• Manage and monitor all IT network systems and infrastructure (including new and existing network hardware & software, data center and security systems
• Support IT network daily operations, incident and problem management and liaise with vendors and other functional IT team for problem resolution and root cause analysis
• Responsible on the network configuration changes (switch / router / firewall / wireless), keep update / maintain the documentation, inventory and also regularly review of the network performance, capacity planning, and contribute the monthly report
• Manage data center assets and inventories
• Maintain proper documentation and reports for auditing and tracking purposes

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field
• Have a minimum 3 years of working experience as Network Infrastructure Engineer / IT Infrastructure / Server Engineer
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure (including hardware/device, software and security systems)
• Professional certificate in networking (CCNA, CCNP) is a plus
• Familiar with Linux Server Administration
• Familiar with Virtualization (vSphere-VMWARE)
• Familiar with SAN equipment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure and/or tight deadlines
